| Northern Fairfield County is nestled at the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, offering both the beauty of nature and a relaxed quality of life not often found in such close proximity to major cities. Within an hour’s distance, you can travel to the cities of Stamford, Hartford, Waterbury, New Haven and White Plains, and New York. We are approximately 80 minutes to Manhattan by train service via Danbury, Bethel or Brewster, New York. Northern Fairfield County is also conveniently located to the major airports, Kennedy, LaGuardia, Westchester, Bradley and Stewart. |

| There is a visible sense of caring about community throughout the area and people are friendly and inviting. We have academically superior schools, both public and private, in all grade levels and Danbury is home to Western Connecticut State University that has very impressive graduate and undergraduate programs. |

| Northern Fairfield County has the best of both worlds….quaint towns full of historic homes and antique shops as well as modern malls and subdivisions. The Danbury Fair Mall has over 200 stores and is New England’s largest mall. |

| There are excellent healthcare facilities nearby including Danbury Hospital which is recognized as a regional referral center and is a major teaching facility with state-of-the-art technological capabilities including MRI, CAT Scan, laser surgery, angiography, a neonatal Level II nursery, nuclear cardiology imaging and cardiac catheterization. |

| We enjoy numerous parks in all of the area towns. The crown jewel being Connecticut’s largest man-made lake…Candlewood Lake that is 18 miles long has 85 miles of shoreline and borders five towns. Richter Park, one of the country’s top-rated public golf courses is also located in Danbury. There are many local community theaters, symphonies and vocal groups for entertainment such as The Ridgefield Playhouse and The Ives Center which is located on the west side campus of Western Connecticut State University and hosts live entertainment from every musical genre from Bob Dylan to Isaac Stern. You can also visit wineries along The Connecticut Wine Trail, amusement parks, ski areas, resorts and some of the country’s most interesting attractions right in our own backyard! |
