Paula Greenberg 
  
Paula Greenberg has been a Mortgage Loan Officer since 1989. She received her bachelors degree from Brooklyn College with a major in Accounting and a minor in Music. Prior to working as a Mortgage Loan Officer, Paula worked as an Accountant and Cash Manager for large Commercial Real Estate Developers in New York City. Paula has been creating and teaching her CE courses for two years now. Her courses are also taught at other Realtor Boards throughout the state of Connecticut. Paula is also an active Rotarian that gives back to the community through her efforts in Rotary. 
 
Richard Gumpert
  

Richard has been a Real Estate Broker since 1973. He received his BS Degree in Business Administration in 1977 at Central CT State University and has been teaching Real Estate classes since 1986. Richard has managed several Real Estate Offices since 1976, such as City Realty Inc., Merrill Lynch Realty, Richard Gumpert Properties, Prudential CT Realty, William Raveis Real Estate, Beazley Company and Remax Valley Properties. He has served on several committees for The Greater Waterbury Board, Mid-State Board and Litchfield Board of REALTORS®. He also served on the Advisory Board for the City of Waterbury Partners in Education from 1991 – 1994. In 2002 and 2003 he was nominated for The Connecticut Association of REALTORS® ‘Educator of the Year’. 

 
Ron Passaro 
  
Ron Passaro, President of RES-I-TEC, Inc. in Bethel, Connecticut, is the founder and first President of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).  Prior to entering the home inspection profession, Mr. Passaro was President of his own construction company for 18 years.  He founded RES-I-TEC, Inc., a home inspection company, in 1973 and has since served as its President and C.E.O. Mr. Passaro has voluntarily served for 15 years as ASHI’s National Spokesperson throughout the United States for news media interviews and meetings with home inspectors. Mr. Passaro has appeared on numerous local radio and cable television shows, as well as national television networks such as; “Good Morning America”, “48 Hours”, “American Journal”, and “Dateline NBC”.  He has been featured as an authority on home inspections in many national and local publications.  Mr.  Passaro has authored articles published in Real Estate Today, Mobility, National Relocation and Real Estate Magazine, Journal of Light Construction, and many others.  He was one of the primary designers of the Employee Relocation Council’s (E.R.C.) National Home Inspection and Report Manual. He is a real estate instructor in Connecticut, where he teaches continuing education and other programs. He frequently lectures throughout the country and conducts educational programs for professional home inspectors, real estate professionals, and new home buyers. He has been a speaker at the National Association of Realtors national conferences and the Triple Play in Atlantic City New Jersey as well as the national conferences for the American Society of Home Inspectors. Mr. Passaro was a Real Estate Instructor for Continuing Education at Teikyo Post University, the University of Hartford, and presently at Norwalk Community College, Dynamic Directions, Inc., The Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS® in Danbury and many more.  He is also the Senior Technical Trainer for the American Home Inspectors Training Institute and conducts classes for first time Home buyers. Mr. Passaro was named “Educator of the Year” by the CT Association of REALTORS® in 2002 and is the retired Chairman of the Connecticut Home Inspection Licensing Board. 
 
Larry Riefberg 
  
Born in Danbury and having attended Danbury public schools (then Tufts University and the University of Connecticut School of Law), this "Rock Star Lawyer" won the "Most Creative" Award for his rendition of "Yesterday" and "Those Were The Days" at two Realtor Idol Shows. On a more serious note, Attorney Riefberg serves on the NFCAR Board. This is his second stint on the Board of REALTORS® Concentrating his practice to all aspects of residential real estate Law, Larry has been an Affiliate Member of the Board for years, participating in the Annual Trade Show, Realtor Day at the Capitol and is teaching many courses at the NFCAR office in Real Estate Law, Short Sales/Foreclosures, Disclosures, etc.  He speaks regularly to local Realtor offices and offers a "Lunch and Learn" session taking Realtors to local Town Halls to familiarize us with the title searching process and what we can learn from an examination of the land records.  Larry is a partner at Riefberg, Smart, Donohue & NeJame, PC, and has practiced law for twenty-six years.  Riefberg also served in the Connecticut General Assembly in the 1980's.  Larry is happily married to his wife, Meg, and they have four beautiful children.
 
Maureen Sperrazza
  

Maureen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Connecticut State University, Danbury, CT with a BA in Anthropology/Sociology and holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sociology from Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven, CT as well as a Women’s Studies Graduate Certificate. She also has her Broker’s license in the State of Connecticut and has been a realtor for over 20 years achieving numerous awards as top producer. Maureen presently is an Adjunct Faculty member of both Western Connecticut State University teaching Cultural Anthropology and Naugatuck Valley Community College teaching Sociology.  She has trained instructors in Conflict Resolution and has Certificates of Achievement in Fundamentals of Conflict Resolution and Mediation Skills.  Her experience includes research assistant, conference assistant and facilitator in the development of strategic planning. Her research on “How Realtors Define Success: A Symbolic Interactionist Study” was presented at the Conference for the Study of Symbolic Interaction in New York City and at the Symbolic Interaction and Ethnographic Research Conference in Niagara Falls, Canada sponsored by McMaster University. Maureen served as the Housing Needs Chairperson for the Northern Fairfield County Association of Realtors.  She has served on the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Association of Connecticut and as Chairperson for the Public Policy Committee developing legislative policy promoting the health, housing, and psychiatric needs of those mentally challenged.  As a result of Maureen’s dedication and service to those mentally challenged, she received 2 Grants for Volunteerism awarded to the Mental Health Association of Connecticut on her behalf. Maureen is a member of the Northern Fairfield County Association of Realtors, Consolidated Multiple Listing Service, Connecticut Multiple Listing Service, Connecticut Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Society for the Study of Symbolic Interaction and the American Sociological Association.
