REALTOR® AWARD

‘REALTOR® of the Year’: Since 1970, the Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS® has been honoring a local REALTOR® who has served not only their profession but also the communities we serve with “The REALTOR® of the Year Award.” A REALTOR® of the Year must excel in the following categories: REALTOR® Spirit, Civic Activity, Business Accomplishments, Local Association/Board Activity, State Association Activity, and National Association Activity. The REALTOR® of The Year (ROTY) selection committee is made up of NFCAR ROTY winners only. A selection process and categories used to select a ROTY often vary from association to association.

JOE BAKER AWARD

‘The Joseph E. Baker Humanitarian Award’: Established in 2008 to honor REALTOR® Joe Baker’s. Only those very close to Joe knew that he volunteered his time and money to #AngelFlights. He died doing what he loved, but more importantly, doing a selfless act for others. The award was created to keep Joe’s memory alive while recognizing other members that are also giving back without thought for themselves. There are Angels among us that give of their time and money quietly without promoting themselves for selfish reasons.

‘REALTOR® Emeritus’: A REALTOR® Member who has held membership in the National Association as a REALTOR®, or REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®, or both, for a cumulative period of forty (40) years or more and has completed at least one year of “service” at the National Association is eligible for REALTOR® Emeritus status.

*”Service” is defined as serving as a NAR officer, director, committee member, Federal Political Coordinator, Global Ambassador, or Global Coordinator to a country which NAR holds a reciprocal agreement.
