Community Foundation

The Mission of the Northern Fairfield County Community Foundation is: To involve REALTORS® in giving back to those in need within our Community through Volunteerism and Fundraising

Philanthropy (phi·lan·thro·py) is an idea, event, or action that is done to better humanity and usually involves some sacrifice as opposed to being done for a profit motive. Acts of philanthropy include donating money to a charity, volunteering at a local shelter, or other actions of goodwill for humanitarian purposes. As concerned residents of the communities we work in, the members of The Northern Fairfield County Association of REALTORS (NFCAR) will support non-profit organizations, which serve the housing, hunger, health, and humanitarian needs of citizens everywhere. Our prime focus, however, will always be the communities we serve in Northern Fairfield County, Connecticut. Over the years, NFCAR has donated thousands of dollars to charities, throughout Fairfield County including, The CT Alzheimer’s Assoc, Ability Beyond, Ann’s Place, DAWS, Dream Come True of CT, Hospice Care, American Heart Association, Wounded Warriors, The Danbury Exchange Club, Help Our Military Heroes, Harmony House, Regional Hospice and many others.

In 2018 The Northern Fairfield County Community Foundation was formed to continue these activities.
